Overview

Dice Rebirth Sim began as a Discord argument about whether 10,000,000 dice could be rolled in 15 days. Under the stated three-character cap and a +50% speed potion, the hard throughput ceiling is 5,832,000 rolls, so the answer is no before luck enters the picture.

The project is deliberately unserious in tone but careful in structure. Its output separates physics ceilings from stochastic variation, showing how much of the result comes from the throughput cap, potion activation downtime, rebirth pacing, stock, money, and modeled AFK loss.

Methodology

The simulator starts with closed-form bounds for characters, speed, horizon, days required, and boost required. It then models potion farming, rebirth arrivals, shop stock, income, and activation pauses on 180-second ticks, vectorized over runs and characters with a fixed random seed for reproducible summaries.

The model reports a distribution rather than a single lucky run and keeps assumptions named at the top of the script. Sensitivity knobs expose the ambiguous mechanics, including whether activation pauses rolling, how downtime is distributed, and how much rebirth pacing varies.

What it does

  • Closed-form throughput ceiling and goal-feasibility checks
  • Vectorized Monte Carlo runs with reproducible random seed
  • Potion supply, batching, activation, and boost-bank simulation
  • Rebirth schedule, shop stock, income, and affordability model
  • Distribution summaries, rollout curves, and dashboard chart
  • Named assumptions for downtime and ambiguous game mechanics
