Overview

DevPulse keeps a developer's project fleet visible in one terminal surface. Local repositories show branch and working-tree state, remote divergence, and recent commits; HTTP and SSH targets show reachability, status, and latency.

The dashboard is meant to stay open rather than be a report generated after the fact. Keyboard navigation moves between project and remote panels, refreshes can be manual or automatic, and repository actions are available from the selected project.

Methodology

Configuration describes local repositories and remote checks as separate monitored resources. The TUI polls them on a configurable interval, normalizes results into color-coded rows, and keeps navigation independent from the underlying check type so a mixed project fleet remains scannable.

Git actions are deliberately explicit and scoped to the selected repository: stage, commit, push, or quick-push. Remote checks distinguish HTTP status and latency from SSH connectivity and optional authentication verification, making a degraded service visible without conflating it with a local git problem.

What it does

  • Branch, changed-file, ahead/behind, and last-commit monitoring
  • HTTP status and latency checks with degradation visibility
  • SSH connectivity and optional auth verification
  • Auto-refreshing htop-style terminal interface
  • Keyboard navigation across projects and remotes
  • Stage, commit, push, and quick-push actions from the TUI
